About the position

The Manager of PIM Operations at PartsSource plays a central role in overseeing the Product Information Management (PIM) platform, specifically Informatica's P360 PIM. This position is crucial for enhancing the online marketplace by managing product information, ensuring data quality, and supporting the catalog operations team. The role involves applying Master Data Management (MDM) principles to improve the customer experience and operational excellence across the catalog of millions of items.

Responsibilities

  • Master all Catalog Operations and PIM Administration, taking ownership of the PIM platform.
  • Utilize technical expertise to administer the platform managing all product listings within the PIM.
  • Serve as the primary custodian of product information assets, overseeing essential product information processes.
  • Create ETL processes from source to export using EasyMorph.
  • Recommend and create custom workflows within the P360 PIM.
  • Define and improve data quality to build customer trust in product information assets.
  • Build connectivity between suppliers and PartsSource for regular data updates using SSIS.
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates to product, item, and cost data in the PIM Database.
  • Execute data cleansing exercises and support data normalization practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to maintain a constant flow of prioritized work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Data Management, or similar (preferably digital/ecommerce focus).
  • 5+ years of ecommerce catalog experience, specifically managing a catalog through PIM in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Deep experience with PIM systems (like Stibo, Informatica, Enterworks, inRiver, or similar).
  • Expert in SSIS and SQL.
  • Experience with Atlassian products like Jira and Confluence for project management.
  • Experience with Business Process Improvement (BPI) tools and processes to manage product MDM at scale.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of ecommerce landscape and online retail.
  • Expert abilities in Excel.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
