About the position

The Manager Platform Operations at adidas will support the development of the Partner Program and Partnership Marketing channels within the Digital Partner Commerce business in Europe. This role focuses on improving operational processes, ensuring smooth partner rollouts, and enhancing productivity with existing partners. The position involves collaboration with various stakeholders to manage performance, product roadmaps, and vendor relationships, ultimately driving operational efficiency and stability in the business.

Responsibilities

  • Design operational processes in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Monitor and improve daily operations to achieve operational KPIs.
  • Define and transform business needs into best practices for streamlined operations.
  • Manage process and system enhancements while focusing on customer expectations.
  • Lead business improvements and internal alignment processes.
  • Support internal business stakeholders across various functions.
  • Refine operational processes for the Partner Program channel.
  • Act as a project manager for partner roll-outs when needed.
  • Ensure correct setup of product data for partners and vendors.
  • Support Gift Cards channel with data transmission through tech providers.
  • Act as a business partner and system consultant to Partner Program colleagues.

Requirements

  • BA / BS in Business, Finance, Economics or related field.
  • 3+ years professional experience in digital/eCommerce, business development, operations, logistics, retail or finance.
  • Extremely strong organizational, communication & planning skills.
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills with proficiency in spreadsheet analyses.
  • Comprehensive understanding of operational process mapping.
  • Pro-active approach to work with a go-getter mindset.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively in matrix organizations.
  • Dynamic and adaptable to drive change and learn new systems quickly.
  • Strong analytical skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Fluency in at least one other European language.
  • Experience in start-up organizations or scaling business models.
  • Understanding of IT landscape.
