About the position

The Manager of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Product Development Technologies at Cardinal Health is responsible for overseeing the operations of the GMPD Oracle Agile PLM build and run team. This role is critical in managing a mission-critical application that supports various functions including Quality, Manufacturing, Research & Development, and Marketing. The manager will lead a team that is tasked with ensuring the effective development, delivery, and operation of software systems that meet both internal and external business needs. This position requires a strong focus on building and maintaining relationships with business partners, vendors, and other key organizational stakeholders. The manager will also be responsible for defining, executing, and managing the application roadmap processes to align with the organization's strategic goals. In this role, the manager will participate in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific departmental goals, ensuring that employees operate within established guidelines. The position involves significant interaction with subordinates, peers, customers, and suppliers at various management levels, including senior management. The manager will be expected to resolve operational and project-related issues, gaining consensus from various parties involved. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and leadership skills, along with the ability to think strategically and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the GMPD Oracle Agile PLM build and run team
  • Lead a team responsible for mission-critical applications that support Quality, Manufacturing, R&D, and Marketing

Requirements

  • 8-12 years of experience in a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience managing large projects within a corporate environment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Quick learning ability and strategic thinking
