About the position

Cardinal Health is seeking a Manager for the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Product Development Technologies Team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services within the organization. The Manager will be responsible for managing department operations and supervising professional employees, front line supervisors, and business support staff. This position requires participation in the development of policies and procedures aimed at achieving specific goals while ensuring that employees operate within established guidelines. The Manager will interact with various management levels, including subordinates, peers, customers, and suppliers, and will be involved in resolving operational and project-related issues. The decisions made in this role will have a short-term impact on work processes, outcomes, and customer satisfaction. The Manager will lead the GMPD Oracle Agile PLM build and run team, which is responsible for mission-critical applications that support Quality, Manufacturing, Research & Development, and Marketing. This role demands strong leadership skills, as the Manager will need to nurture and maintain robust relationships with business partners, vendors, and other key organizational stakeholders. Additionally, the Manager will be tasked with effectively defining, executing, and managing the application roadmap processes to ensure alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the GMPD Oracle Agile PLM build and run team
  • Lead a team responsible for mission-critical applications that support Quality, Manufacturing, R&D, and Marketing
  • Nurture and maintain strong relationships with business partners, vendors, and other key stakeholders
  • Define, execute, and manage the application roadmap processes

Requirements

  • 8-12 years of experience in a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience managing large projects within a corporate environment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Quick learning ability and strategic thinking
