As a member of the Business Credit Center, you will be responsible for managing an assigned group of loans within our commercial loan portfolio. This role encompasses a variety of tasks that are essential for maintaining credit quality, managing risk grades, ensuring compliance with covenants, and overseeing loan and line maturities. You will also be involved in loan documentation, collateral tracking, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include significant customer interaction, both written and verbal, as you partner with Relationship Managers to cross-sell new products and services. Your goal will be to deliver an industry-leading customer experience to our borrowing customers. Additionally, you will participate in project teams and Continuous Improvement initiatives that may impact the entire unit. The portfolio you manage may consist of larger, more complex credit facilities, and you may also take on team leadership responsibilities, assisting in the training of junior staff members and sales partners. In this role, you will monitor and maintain the quality of your assigned commercial loan portfolio, alerting senior management to any issues that may arise. You will manage the renewal and modification processes for loans and lines of credit, ensuring timely document execution through thorough underwriting and closing processes. Regular credit and financial reviews will be part of your routine, ensuring accurate risk grades and data integrity. You will also conduct site visits to meet with company management, collect financial information, and discuss new lending opportunities, all while supporting the Bank's loan payment collection efforts to minimize past dues and charge-offs.
