About the position

As a Managed Solution Consultant at Charles Schwab, you will provide clients with holistic wealth management in a collaborative team environment. The role involves engaging with clients through financial planning consultations, offering tailored advice based on their personal goals and needs, and educating them on various financial topics. You will also be responsible for business development, client retention, and relationship management, ensuring that clients receive the best possible service and support in their financial journeys.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients via scheduled phone-based interactions to engage in financial planning and discovery conversations.
  • Serve as a product expert for a variety of managed account solutions.
  • Prepare for client appointments by reviewing previous interactions and financial plan details.
  • Quickly build rapport with clients and conduct discovery conversations to understand their financial needs.
  • Provide education regarding financial planning and investment topics, focusing on retirement, investment, education, banking, lending, credit management, and insurance.
  • Demonstrate the value of partnering with an investment professional as clients' financial circumstances evolve.
  • Recommend and enroll clients into managed solutions based on their individual plans.
  • Apply a consultative approach to assess and determine appropriate solutions for clients' goals.
  • Uncover development opportunities to deepen client relationships with Schwab.
  • Manage client appointments and personal calendar for efficient engagement with clients.
  • Conduct follow-up activities to introduce clients to internal specialists and resources as needed.
  • Strive for consistent growth and improvement to enhance the client experience.
  • Adhere to a risk-based approach prioritizing the client's interests.

Requirements

  • Active FINRA Series 7
  • Active FINRA Series 66 or 63 & 65
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience
  • 3 years of financial services experience
