About the position

The Shopper Marketing Lead for Diageo's Pre-Mix category will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic retail programs aimed at driving traffic and increasing conversion across key National Account customers. This role requires a dynamic self-starter who can manage multiple projects, collaborate with various internal and external partners, and leverage data-driven insights to enhance brand placements and sales support materials. The position is critical for executing effective shopper marketing strategies that align with Diageo's growth objectives in the Pre-Mix category, which is projected to account for a significant portion of spirits growth over the next three years.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement customer-specific retail programs to drive traffic and increase conversion.
  • Collaborate with National Accounts Sales teams to execute marketing strategies effectively.
  • Work cross-functionally with CP&A and brand teams to establish feedback loops and enhance programming.
  • Manage relationships with agencies, finance, legal, and distributor partners to ensure successful program execution.
  • Create insight-driven programs that can be scaled across physical and digital retail channels.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a CPG environment with a focus on shopper/customer marketing and brand activation.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects with strong project management skills.
  • Experience in Category Development, Category Management, or Customer Marketing.
  • Strong influencing skills and experience in cross-functional team management.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
