About the position

The Manager of Premium Hospitality at the Washington Commanders is a sales leadership role focused on generating significant revenue through the sale of premium hospitality products, including luxury suites and memberships. The position requires a strong understanding of professional sports hospitality and client relationship development, with responsibilities that include prospecting, pitching, and closing high-value agreements with corporate executives and high net worth individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Generate significant new revenue by successfully selling a full menu of ticketing products.
  • Prospect potential new clients via phone, email, internet, social media, and self-prospecting.
  • Manage a robust sales pipeline while providing updates and forecasts to senior leadership.
  • Execute and lead dynamic sales presentations both onsite and offsite.
  • Create, track, develop, and maintain all proposals, research, contracts, and follow sales processes diligently.
  • Exceed individual sales goals and meet targets.
  • Work closely with the Premium Hospitality Client Service team to ensure superior service and fulfillment of contract details.
  • Represent the Washington Commanders at local networking, community, and corporate events to generate awareness and sales leads.
  • Utilize CRM system to manage accounts, pipelines, sales processes, and activity.
  • Communicate effectively within all levels of the company, both internally and externally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of three years in sales experience; prior experience selling six and seven figure suite deals in sports & entertainment is strongly preferred.
  • History of top Premium/B2B revenue production for a sports and/or entertainment organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
  • Exceptional organization and pipeline management skills.
  • Skilled in setting and running sales meetings, with ability to effectively pitch and present premium products.
  • Deep knowledge of the corporate sector and ability to build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively across all departments and possess an optimistic team-first mentality.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with ability to travel to offsite client meetings.
  • Proficient in Ticketmaster/Archtics, Microsoft Dynamics/CRM, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Local market knowledge is a plus.

Benefits

  • Base Salary range: $55-$65k, plus commissions.
