About the position

As the Solution Architects (SA) Manager for Prisma Cloud at Palo Alto Networks, you will lead a team of technical experts focused on cloud security transformation for customers. This role involves building strong relationships with clients, mentoring your team, and ensuring successful deployment of Prisma Cloud solutions. You will also provide feedback to product management and drive high adoption of the platform by coaching your team on best practices and optimal architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Solution Architects team for Prisma Cloud.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers to drive business.
• Coach and mentor team members to enhance their skills and engagement.
• Monitor and ensure the success of Proof of Value/Concepts (PoVs/PoCs).
• Provide technical leadership in customer interactions and share industry trends.
• Recruit and retain top talent in the Solution Architects field.
• Define and influence the training curriculum for the team.
• Act as an escalation point for technical issues during pre-sales and post-sales processes.
• Champion the voice of users to influence product direction and feature priorities.
• Participate actively in the selling process and support complex evaluations.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience as a pre-sales Solutions Manager.
• 6+ years as a Senior Solutions Architect, Principal or Consulting Engineer.
• Industry knowledge of security product market trends and competitor offerings.
• Domain expertise in public cloud architectures and cloud native security models.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Quota-driven attitude focused on providing the best solutions for clients.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with firewalls and other security technologies.
