About the position

As a Process Control Manager, you will be responsible for leading our team to develop, deploy and share process control solutions. In particular, our mission involves creating autonomous systems to adjust processes to improve process capability and increase yield. Specifically, we need someone to set team vision and drive continuous improvement of our PCS technology stack. We provide a work environment that empowers employees to creatively improve their work environment and support a team effort. We are looking for someone to recognize and resolve any challenges or barriers to the department's objectives. It is expected that goals are always clearly identified, prioritized and validated with action plans to address any obstacles. A successful candidate will coordinate the resources to balance between tactical and strategic projects, while maintaining operational excellence. You will remove barriers to ensure commitments are completed on time. Promoting constructive discussions and balanced conflict within the team is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate Safety-First mentality by setting an example for the team by mentoring, performing safety audits, and requiring safe behavior.
  • Regularly conduct 1:1 meetings with each team member to discuss performance, roadblocks, and career aspirations.
  • Build paths for career development.
  • Provide knowledge, resources & training (tools, systems, human resources, etc.) to enable the group's success.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with partners in process and equipment development, IT, and the global network to support your team and enable solutions locally.
  • Supervise key team metrics, set line of sight goals, and drive team to meet business commits and handle personnel issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Lead changes and improvements to the group while continually reviewing systems and solutions with the question, 'How can I make this better?'

Requirements

  • 5 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience is required.
  • A BS degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field, or an equivalent Micron job standing of Engineer or higher is required.
  • Demonstrate partnership and collaboration through flexibility, desire to assist others, and displaying a positive demeanor.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; able to concisely present highly technical data.
  • Demonstrate problem solving, analytical skills, and a shown ability to drive sophisticated projects to completion.
  • We require an authority in APC/R2R, sought out by others for training and guidance.
