The Manager, Procurement Contract at Worley plays a crucial role in supporting the execution of project subcontract plans. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive subcontract plans tailored to individual project requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Legal Department to customize company documents for specific project needs, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Lead and manage the Project Subcontract team, distributing workload and advising Contract Administrators on policy matters.
  • Provide management with regular updates on the status of all project subcontracts.
  • Develop and recommend lists of qualified subcontractors based on past performance and project requirements.
  • Prepare Request for Proposal forms, ensuring accuracy and completeness of proposal packages, and evaluate subcontractor responses.
  • Prepare and maintain subcontract documents, establish accurate tracking records, and produce reports for project management.
  • Ensure subcontractor files are updated, including invoice auditing and payment monitoring.
  • Manage subcontract changes, host weekly subcontractor meetings, and oversee subcontract closeout actions.
  • Act as the liaison between subcontractors and the construction team to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in the industrial construction industry, specifically in chemicals, petrochemicals, power, and refinery sectors.
  • A four-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using integrated contract management software is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of construction, engineering, and legal terms and conditions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage resources effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
