About the position
As a Manager in Global Procurement for MRO & Construction Materials, you will be responsible for driving value and managing supplier relationships across various business units. This role focuses on sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance procurement strategies, particularly in the areas of fencing, woods, masonry, plastics, and drywall/acoustical materials.
Responsibilities
- Own the management and sourcing of assigned material group.
- Manage mid-level, non-strategic suppliers, including price changes and issue escalation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and analysts to prepare RFx.
- Actively seek new opportunities to grow spend under management.
- Lead or assist in contract negotiations for new and existing suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, economics, technology, or related field and 2 years' experience in procurement strategy, contract management, analytics, or related field.
- 4 years' experience in procurement strategy, contract management, analytics, or related field.
Nice-to-haves
- Data modelling, data analytics, and data management experience.
- Qualified experience in Microsoft Excel.
