About the position

The Sr. Manager, Product Development & Procurement is a key leader in the Aerospace division at Regal Rexnord Corp. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing the company's strategic vision while providing procurement support for new product development projects. The position involves collaboration with Sales, Engineering, and key customers, and focuses on enhancing Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) initiatives across the division. The Sr. Manager will report directly to the Director of Supply Chain Management.

Responsibilities

• Owner of Supply Chain Management Excellence for Aerospace division.
• Key member of cross-functional teams for product development, ensuring successful product launches.
• Ensure compliance with supply chain policies for product placement and lifecycle changes.
• Analyze supply base capacity and establish optimal supply chain design and project timelines.
• Facilitate action plans and communicate progress to maintain timelines and customer delivery dates.
• Partner with Materials Leaders to translate customer demand into accurate forecasts and ensure proper inventory levels.
• Identify cost-to-serve options to optimize profitability and customer delivery.
• Coordinate and improve the SIOP process, contributing to material procurement timing and order release requirements.
• Lead scheduling discussions to align production plans with customer demand.
• Report on Supply Chain KPIs and take actions to improve performance where necessary.
• Act as a liaison between various departments including Customer Service, Sales, Engineering, and Production.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or a related field; MBA is desirable.
• Minimum of ten years of Supply Chain experience, particularly in new product development and lifecycle management.
• Strong project management skills with effective communication abilities.
• Proficient in reading technical documents and manufacturing reports.
• Demonstrated experience in Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP).
• Proficiency in Excel, Access, Project, and MRP/ERP systems.
• Lean Manufacturing background and technical knowledge to read design prints.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in aerospace or industrial manufacturing sectors.
• Familiarity with sustainability practices in supply chain management.
