About the position

As a Private Brands Manager in Product Development at Walmart, you will advocate for customers by overseeing the development of products from ideation to final review. This role focuses on creating high-quality products that offer great value to Walmart customers, leveraging the company's scale to impact millions globally. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze market trends, and ensure product quality while driving business metrics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting the category strategy for Private Brands through customer understanding and market trends.
• Build relationships with suppliers, merchants, and business partners to influence product decisions.
• Collaborate with merchants on product aspects including replenishment, supply chain, and pricing.
• Work with Sourcing to deliver quality products while achieving key business metrics.
• Maintain a deep understanding of private brand customers and suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or related field and 2 years' experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area OR 4 years' experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area.
• Strong influencing and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze performance and understand market trends.
