About the position

The Manager of Product Development will oversee the Mastercard Edge Platform (MEP) product development team, focusing on delivering a unified platform that supports all Mastercard products and services. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional global stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the MEP solution, which includes defining requirements, structuring the product roadmap, and ensuring the integrity and consistency of the product delivery across various platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Detail the epics with full view of functional and non-functional requirements for MEP solution delivery.
  • Participate in defining flows and interfaces for the product and perform joint solution design with Engineering teams.
  • Partner with Product Management and Engineering teams to define, design, develop, and deliver scalable products for commercialization.
  • Structure the requirements and provide a logical path for analysis and feedback.
  • Ensure the integrity and consistency of the delivery of the vision across all products.
  • Produce necessary artifacts for internal customers with consistency and quality.
  • Apply logic and reasoning to elaborate solutions with Engineering teams.
  • Understand the functionality, architecture, dependencies, and runtime properties of the systems supporting the products.
  • Ensure knowledge replication and mutual backup within the team.

Requirements

  • More than 3 years of product development experience, managing backlogs and participating in solution design.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and forge paths forward in complex ecosystems.
  • Experience in performing quality preliminary work for discovery and analysis.
  • Minimal guidance needed to elaborate requirements and organize work.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for task completion.
  • Deep understanding of functional and non-functional characteristics of the product.
  • Experience in agile delivery methodologies (SAFe, scrum, Kanban).
  • Superior oral and written communication and organization skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with analytical skills and attention to documentation.
  • Understanding of cloud technologies and modern development techniques is a plus.
