As the Manager of Product Development, you will play a pivotal role in leading a software development team responsible for the design, development, testing, and delivery of our SaaS-based directory offering. This product not only serves as a directory but also provides essential user data storage services that power our broader SaaS platform. You will report directly to the Director of Directory Services, who oversees both our on-premise directory product team and the SaaS development team. In this role, you will lead the development of new features, manage recruitment and training efforts, and build a high-performing software development team. You will also be responsible for forecasting, allocating, and managing both capital and human resources investments. Collaborating closely with product management, you will help define product requirements and ensure that your team is equipped to respond swiftly to any unforeseen production issues that may arise.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of new features for the SaaS-based directory offering.
  • Manage recruitment, training, and development of a high-performing software development team.
  • Oversee forecasting, allocation, and management of capital and personnel investments.
  • Collaborate with product management to determine product requirements and definitions.
  • Assist the team in responding quickly to unforeseen production issues.

Requirements

  • Experience hiring and leading outstanding engineers.
  • Experience leading Agile teams and planning processes.
  • CI/CD commercial cloud architecture and delivery experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience leading Software as a Service teams and processes.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience directly managing development teams and delivering successful commercial products to market.
  • Excellent coordination skills with other product development teams, product management, and customer services.
