About the position

The Manager of Product Development at Mastercard is responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of the Mastercard Edge Platform (MEP) in collaboration with cross-functional global stakeholders. This role involves structuring the product roadmap, defining requirements, and ensuring the successful delivery of scalable products that enhance customer experience. The position requires strong leadership in product development, agile methodologies, and a deep understanding of both functional and non-functional product characteristics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development of the Mastercard Edge Platform (MEP) in partnership with global stakeholders.
• Structure the product roadmap and prioritize the backlog for delivery.
• Define functional and non-functional requirements for product development.
• Participate in solution design with Engineering teams to ensure successful delivery of MEP.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to develop scalable products for commercialization.
• Produce necessary artifacts such as sequence diagrams and capability training decks.
• Apply logical reasoning to elaborate solutions with Engineering teams.
• Ensure integrity and consistency of product delivery across all capabilities.

Requirements

• More than 3 years of product development experience.
• Experience in managing backlogs for multiple delivery squads.
• Strong understanding of agile delivery methodologies (SAFe, scrum, Kanban).
• Ability to work with minimal guidance and drive tasks to completion.
• Superior oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of cloud technologies and modern development techniques.
