About the position

The Product Engineering Manager at onsemi will lead a team of Test Engineers, overseeing the execution of new product development for current business product lines. This role is crucial for managing project execution, process improvement, product quality, and product costs, aligning with the organization's strategic goals. The manager will engage in all phases of product development, from planning to manufacturing release, and will be responsible for workforce development and training.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Test Engineers in product development.
• Manage execution of new product development for business product lines.
• Oversee project resourcing, cost budgeting, and project planning.
• Drive DfT reviews and define requirements for testability.
• Schedule and execute post-silicon validation activities.
• Conduct performance reviews and manage people-related decisions.
• Document gaps, lessons learned, and best practices with Design/DfT teams.

Requirements

• BSEE with over 15 years of experience or MSEE with over 10 years in Product/Test.
• Minimum of 5 years of people leadership and management experience.
• Experience with ATE platforms and IC testing.
• Strong track record of bringing products into high-volume production.
• Good understanding of product financial metrics and cost reduction activities.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with digital, analog, RF test methods and techniques.
• Experience with DfT strategies and test instrumentation requirements.
• Knowledge of protocols and industry standards for various IPs.
