About the position

As a Manager on the Associate Experience product team at Capital One, you will focus on enhancing the associate experience through the development of simple, digitally enriched solutions. This role involves representing customer needs to inform the platform roadmap, ensuring alignment with business outcomes, and collaborating with tech teams to deliver key platform components. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and customer-centric, capable of engaging with various stakeholders from developers to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Define key metrics to track success or prioritize features
  • Translate requirements of large data initiatives into smaller actionable items
  • Champion data literacy within the organization and drive adoption rates
  • Conduct market assessments, user interviews, and testing
  • Map out data personas and consumer profiles
  • Make objective arguments to influence stakeholders
  • Track usage to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy for key components of the platform
  • Deeply understand the needs of internal associates across Capital One
  • Perform A/B testing to learn with speed
  • Set OKRs and KPIs
  • Prioritize the Product Backlog to maximize business and customer outcomes
  • Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design
  • Enable collaboration and ensure communication between teams
  • Maintain a healthy backlog of work and play a critical role in many agile ceremonies
  • Support the team with escalation and resolution of impediments
  • Serve as the connection between customers, Capital One's mission, and your team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in product management or at least 3 years of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • MBA or Master's degree
  • 1+ years of experience in Agile product management
