About the position

As a Manager on the Associate Experience product team at Capital One, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the digital workspace for associates across the organization. This position is designed for a passionate individual who is eager to connect customers within the Capital One enterprise with user-friendly, digitally enriched experiences. Your mission will be to ensure that the capabilities delivered align with the intended business outcomes, thereby creating an unparalleled experience for associates, similar to the industry-leading customer experience Capital One is known for. In this role, you will be responsible for defining key metrics to track success and prioritizing features that will drive the product vision and strategy for key components of the platform. You will translate the requirements of large data initiatives into smaller, actionable items, and champion data literacy within the organization to drive adoption rates. Conducting market assessments, user interviews, and testing will be essential to map out data personas and consumer profiles, allowing you to make objective arguments that influence stakeholders effectively. You will also track usage to identify opportunities for improvement, perform A/B testing to learn quickly, and set OKRs and KPIs to ensure that the product backlog is prioritized to maximize business and customer outcomes. Your role will require you to incorporate design thinking and analytics into product design, enabling collaboration and ensuring effective communication between teams. You will maintain a healthy backlog of work and play a critical role in agile ceremonies, supporting the team with the escalation and resolution of impediments. Ultimately, you will serve as the vital connection between customers, Capital One's mission, and your team, ensuring that the needs of internal associates are deeply understood and addressed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in product management or at least 3 years of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • MBA or Master's degree
  • 1+ years of experience in Agile product management
