About the position
The Manager of Product Management for Capital Markets & Analytics at Capital One is responsible for leading the transformation of the Treasury & Trading department by identifying business needs and creating innovative product solutions. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to optimize product strategies and enhance the overall finance experience. The position also includes building and mentoring a new product management team, establishing a product vision, and driving the execution of product initiatives that leverage modern technologies and data services.
Responsibilities
- Establish the vision, strategy, and execution of Treasury and Trading products, data, and services.
- Create frameworks for and manage the prioritization of work, capabilities, components, and infrastructures used by multiple customer solutions.
- Communicate and evangelize product and portfolio strategy across large organizations and executives.
- Create frameworks for using data to uncover opportunities, track product performance, and drive decision making.
- Prioritize, negotiate, and remove blockers to orchestrate successful launch or optimization cycles.
- Inspire and empower teams to execute with urgency to deliver solutions and on priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years of product management, analytics, or strategy consulting experience
- At least 1 year of Capital Markets or Trading product management experience
- 1 year of experience leading cross-functional product teams
Nice-to-haves
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Finance
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification
- Data Management Experience
- 1+ years of Agile Product Management experience
