About the position

The Manager, Product Management for the Card Core Settlement Platform at Capital One is responsible for driving innovative and sustainable customer experiences through technology. This role involves collaborating with various teams to translate insights and needs into scalable user-centric services, while developing end-to-end solutions to enhance customer service. The ideal candidate will balance exploration and execution roles, demonstrating proficiency in human-centered design, business focus, technology understanding, and transformational leadership.

Responsibilities

• Work with architects, data scientists, service designers, process engineers, and developers to translate insights into user-centric services.
• Develop end-to-end solutions to better serve Card customers.
• Define clear and actionable problem statements to help teams deliver results.
• Leverage customer insights to influence priorities and roadmap feature development.
• Own and prioritize the near-term product roadmap to deliver on business outcomes.
• Utilize data effectively to define success metrics and measurable outcomes.
• Understand and leverage technology to drive comprehensive design decisions.
• Communicate a 6-month vision to senior stakeholders and partner teams.
• Contribute to team culture and recruiting by mentoring and developing junior product associates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience
• At least 3 years of product management experience or related fields such as product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering.

• MBA or Master's degree
• 2+ years of experience in Agile product management
