About the position
The Manager, Product Management - Finance Product & Data Solutions at Capital One is responsible for discovering, delivering, and optimizing products that transform how Finance Associates work. This role focuses on reimagining the associate experience, reducing manual work, and enabling automation of critical business processes. The position requires proficiency in human-centered design, business focus, technology-driven solutions, and transformational leadership to drive innovative customer experiences through technology.
Responsibilities
- Define clear and actionable problem statements to help teams deliver results.
- Leverage customer insights to influence priorities and roadmap feature development.
- Own and prioritize the near-term product roadmap to deliver on business outcomes.
- Utilize balanced judgment in decisions about risks of actions taken and not taken.
- Understand and leverage technology and end-state architecture vision to drive design decisions.
- Develop and communicate a 6-month vision to senior stakeholders and partner teams.
- Lead discovery in complex spaces for data modernization and processing.
- Partner closely with technology and data experts to design robust solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- At least 3 years of product management experience or experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering.
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- MBA or Master's degree
- 2+ years of experience in Agile product management.
