About the position

The Manager, Product Management - HR Data at Capital One is responsible for overseeing the development of backend data pipelines that support data analytics for the HR Data team. This role involves collaborating with internal partners to ensure high-quality people data is available for various analytic use cases, enhancing associate experiences, and driving data-driven decision-making. The position emphasizes a human-centered approach, business focus, technology-driven solutions, and integrated problem-solving, all within a collaborative environment that fosters continuous learning and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal partner teams to build backend data pipelines for analytics.
  • Work with tech teams to establish comprehensive acceptance criteria for features.
  • Break down business epics into features and user stories for product development.
  • Own and prioritize feature development roadmaps to manage risk effectively.
  • Conduct research and develop features utilizing new technologies in an agile environment.
  • Collaborate with designers, technologists, and data scientists to create innovative solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze customer feedback to improve data capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
  • At least 3 years of product management experience or related fields such as product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile product management.
