About the position
The Manager, Product Management - Risk Management at Capital One is responsible for driving innovative and sustainable customer experiences through technology. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with tech teams to build comprehensive acceptance criteria and identify research needs for future feature design.
- Break down business epics into features and user stories, driving the team towards Minimal Viable Product (MVP) for valid feature tests.
- Use hypothesis-driven assessment of data to ensure product features deliver on real business needs.
- Own and prioritize feature development roadmaps, managing necessary processes and procedures to mitigate risk.
- Conduct research and develop features utilizing new and evolving technology in an agile environment.
- Collaborate with designers, technologists, data scientists, and subject-matter experts to build innovative solutions.
- Develop frameworks for complex decision-making to enable effective debate and accelerate problem-solving.
- Articulate a succinct product roadmap to deliver business value and share with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
- At least 3 years of product management experience or equivalent experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering.
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- MBA or Master's degree.
- 2+ years of experience in Agile product management.
- 1+ year managing a data product.
