About the position

The Manager of Product Management, Technical at PayPal is responsible for strategically designing and launching innovative mobile-first consumer experiences. This role involves leading a cross-functional team, collaborating with product managers, engineering, and design to execute a product roadmap. The manager will analyze existing products, identify growth opportunities, manage feature requests, and participate in agile ceremonies to drive the execution and launch of new features, balancing customer needs with business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team in creating and launching innovative mobile-first experiences.
• Understand Venmo's strategic and competitive position in the market to develop a product strategy and roadmap for your domain.
• Analyze, quantify, and articulate trade-offs of product roadmap features.
• Identify, design, experiment and iterate on initiatives leveraging usability testing, data, and market research.
• Define and analyze key performance metrics to support and inform product decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, market, and launch product.
• Use A/B Testing, analytics, market research, usability studies, and competitive analysis to drive decision making.

Requirements

• 6+ years of consumer web or mobile product management experience.
• Proven track record of delivering successful large-scale mobile products.
• Comfortable using data and analytics to inform product hypotheses and decisions.
• Ability to lead cross-functional groups and drive action in high-growth environments.
• Deep empathy and appreciation for user needs.
• Experience designing simple and intuitive user interfaces.
• Strong sense for visual design and detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Payments or Consumer Financial Services is a plus.
