About the position

The Manager of Product Management is responsible for enhancing the customer experience at Charter by leading product development processes from ideation to launch. This role involves collaborating with various functional teams to streamline operations, resolve production defects, and implement product enhancements. The manager will also develop reporting mechanisms to monitor product performance and support the communication of product strategies that drive financial results.

Responsibilities

  • Perform management analysis to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Define and launch a leading product development process for Cable Operations.
  • Lead input gathering across functional teams with key stakeholders.
  • Translate high-level process goals into specific sub-processes with documentation.
  • Create and maintain workflows that support the product lifecycle end to end.
  • Resolve production defects through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Institute product enhancements for improved performance.
  • Create business requirements and oversee grooming activities.
  • Communicate project status to management and address roadblocks.
  • Provide risk management and sign off on wireframes.
  • Participate in testing activities and ensure delivery dates are met.
  • Partner with IT, Marketing, Customer Operations, Sales, and Digital Marketing for implementation strategies.
  • Develop reporting for products and workflows to monitor product performance.
  • Support the development and communication of product strategies based on new services/features.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience leading cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
  • Experience in product development utilizing agile methodologies.
  • Experience in creating business requirements and delivering software-build products.
  • 2 years of Mobile Industry experience within product management.
