About the position

The Manager of Product Management is responsible for enhancing the Charter customer experience by leading product development processes from ideation to launch. This role involves collaborating with various functional teams and stakeholders to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness in the telecommunications industry. The manager will create workflows, resolve production defects, and develop reporting mechanisms to monitor product performance, while also supporting the development of product strategies that drive financial results.

Responsibilities

  • Perform management analysis to support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Define and launch a leading product development process for all lines of business in Cable Operations.
  • Lead input gathering across functional teams with key stakeholders.
  • Translate high-level process goals into specific sub-processes with appropriate documentation.
  • Create and maintain workflows that support the product lifecycle end to end.
  • Resolve production defects through cross-functional collaboration and institute product enhancements.
  • Create business requirements and provide oversight to grooming activities.
  • Communicate project status to management and address roadblocks.
  • Provide risk management and sign off on wireframes.
  • Participate in testing activities and ensure adherence to delivery dates.
  • Partner with go-to-market peers to determine the best implementation strategy.
  • Develop reporting for products and workflows to monitor and assess product performance.
  • Support the development and communication of product strategies dependent on new services/features.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience leading cross-functional teams to achieve business goals and results.
  • Experience in product development utilizing agile methodologies.
  • Experience in business requirement creation and delivery of software-build products.
  • Experience in partner cross-functionality to align with project timelines and deliverables.
  • Experience in creating business cases that highlight product value.
  • 2 years of Mobile Industry experience within product management.
