About the position

The Product Manager for the Self Service Platform at Capital One will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the company's financial services by building a scalable and flexible platform. The role emphasizes product management skills, particularly in a highly regulated financial environment, and aims to create innovative customer experiences through technology.

Responsibilities

  • Define clear and actionable problem statements to guide teams in delivering results.
  • Leverage customer insights to influence product priorities and roadmap feature development.
  • Obsess over UX/UI patterns to create world-class omni-channel experiences.
  • Own and prioritize the product roadmap to achieve business outcomes.
  • Utilize data effectively to define success metrics and measurable outcomes.
  • Understand and leverage technology to drive design decisions for complex problems.
  • Communicate a 6-month vision to senior stakeholders and partner teams.
  • Contribute to team culture and recruiting by mentoring junior product associates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of product management experience or related fields such as product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • MBA or Master's degree
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile product management.
