About the position

The Capital One Software marketing team is seeking a seasoned Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to drive business goals for Capital One Slingshot. This role focuses on making product lines successful in the market and with customers, defining end-to-end go-to-market (GTM) strategy, and empowering sales teams with the right content and insights to optimize customer conversions. The PMM will partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to understand customer needs and enhance the sales pipeline through effective marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Become a subject matter expert on key technology areas, including Cloud Infrastructure, Data Engineering, and Data Security.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of the product's sales funnel, personas, industries, and use cases to drive sales and marketing asset development.
  • Empower sellers with compelling messaging, content, and materials to increase top-of-funnel volume with qualifying opportunities and build a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Identify opportunities to develop relevant marketing and sales content, including videos, one-pagers, blogs, and case studies, and manage production.
  • Build insights based on product usage data, voice of customer, campaign effectiveness, and industry trends, translating those insights into actionable recommendations that promote business objectives and drive tangible results.
  • Participate in the product/customer feedback loop, capturing insights and learnings to inform marketing and messaging needs.
  • Influence enterprise-wide B2B product/software marketing agenda.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 4 years of experience in a product marketing role
  • At least 2 years of experience marketing SaaS products or services.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5 or more years of experience in a product marketing role
  • 3 or more years of experience marketing B2B SaaS products or services
  • Experience in highly cross-functional and matrixed teams.
