About the position

The Product Marketing Manager for Monetization at Netflix will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies for new product launches, particularly focusing on affordable ad-supported subscription plans. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to align business and product goals, ensuring effective communication and positioning in the market. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, driving initiatives that enhance customer experience and contribute to Netflix's growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the positioning statement for key product launches, focusing on customer value and competitive capabilities.
  • Build marketing strategy for launches, aligning business goals, technical considerations, and marketing expertise.
  • Work across teams to align on product or feature naming and brand architecture.
  • Assess upcoming product and feature launches to identify overarching stories and position them clearly for consumers.
  • Collaborate with product and communications partners to define marketing needs and coordinate execution across the marketing organization.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure coherent messaging between in-service and off-service communications.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Marketing or related fields with an emphasis on product marketing.
  • Experience in developing consumer messaging, positioning, and targeting, particularly for multi-country product launches.
  • High-level understanding of product growth and strategic roadmap development.
  • Comfort with data analysis and spreadsheet modeling, with a willingness to collaborate on infrastructure improvements.
  • Preferred experience in B2C and/or the entertainment industry product marketing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work across technical and creative teams.
  • Strong project management skills with a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt to change and manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to create detailed and actionable Product Briefs.
  • Respect and enthusiasm for Netflix culture.
