About the position

As a Product Marketing Manager on the New Propositions team at Walmart, you will play a pivotal role in validating and scaling innovative initiatives in Augmented Reality, Generative AI, and home delivery. This position is integral to Walmart's commitment to enhancing customer experiences and redefining retail relationships. You will be responsible for generating insights and bringing new tech products and features to market, driving engagement across a diverse product suite. Your work will involve collaboration with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, Analytics, Engineering, Marketing, and Research to create best-in-class digital experiences for customers. A robust test and learn strategy will be essential in driving product adoption and ongoing engagement. In this role, you will develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new feature releases, including launch plans and positioning. You will utilize behavioral insights to create hypothesis-driven experiments and execute a rigorous testing agenda that can scale into high-impact programs. Collaborating with various teams, you will generate strategic insights to inform the product roadmap, leveraging user behavioral insights and competitive analysis to establish product market fit. A customer-centric team culture will be fostered, ensuring that every decision made is aligned with customer needs and expectations. Success in this role requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to build relationships across teams. You should be comfortable driving decision-making in a fast-paced environment and have a proven track record of bringing new digital products to market. You will thrive in ambiguity, demonstrating problem-solving skills and the ability to pivot when necessary. Your experience in creating omni-channel experimentation plans will be crucial, as will your fluency in technology and software, allowing you to collaborate effectively with technical stakeholders. Strong communication skills are essential for conveying complex information in an understandable and persuasive manner, and a sense of curiosity will drive your eagerness to problem-solve and innovate.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategy for new feature releases, including launch plan and positioning.
  • Utilize behavioral insights to develop hypothesis-driven experiments and execute a rigorous testing agenda that can scale into high-impact programs.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Research to meet ambitious engagement targets.
  • Generate strategic insights in partnership with Product, Research, and Analytics to inform roadmap, leveraging user behavioral insights and competitive analysis to establish product market fit.
  • Create a customer-centric team culture that powers every decision made.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; OR 4 years' experience in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years marketing experience.
  • 3+ years' experience in B2C product marketing or retention marketing.
  • Experience in consumer technology products (early-stage preferred).
  • Experience working closely with tech organizations (i.e., Product, Engineering, Analytics).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in developing omni-channel experimentation plans.
  • Strong understanding of digital product marketing strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
