About the position

Effectv is seeking a dynamic and diplomatic Manager to lead the Product Marketing team. This role involves managing daily activities, developing advertising products, and implementing marketing strategies to support the Advertising Sales team. The Manager will also be responsible for training staff, researching competitive positioning, and ensuring adherence to departmental budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the value proposition for multiscreen advertising products and explain their functionality within the advertising ecosystem.
  • Partner with Product Management and Product Commercialization for the launch and evolution of advertising product strategies.
  • Introduce new advertising products to the Sales team and provide necessary training.
  • Research and recommend competitive positioning for advertising products.
  • Monitor program performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Develop and communicate department policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Train and mentor staff, including both professionals and non-exempt employees.
  • Implement marketing campaign strategies targeted at specific market segments.
  • Collaborate with Sales Development and Sales staff on proposals for key customers.
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or a combination of coursework and experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience in product marketing or a related field.
  • Strong people management skills and product knowledge.
  • Ability to develop value propositions and marketing strategies.
