About the position

The position involves leading multi-tier SaaS solutions delivery while ensuring high quality and timely completion. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including product managers and Agile teams, to align on product delivery goals and manage dependencies. The individual will be responsible for improving development processes, managing budgets, and fostering employee career development within a diverse and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multi-tier SaaS solutions on-time and with high quality that delight customers.
• Lead Agile Teams, including managers, architects, RTE, and SCRUM Masters.
• Collaborate with CCH Axcess Scan Product Manager, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and achieve product delivery goals.
• Work with stakeholders within the CCH Axcess and Scan ecosystems to align technology roadmaps and manage dependencies.
• Design and implement quality initiatives to meet improvement goals.
• Ship high-quality products on time and on budget, managing projects and Agile Teams.
• Collaborate with the Director to determine departmental budgets and schedules.
• Review cost/benefit analyses of design alternatives and collaborate with technical staff before selecting final designs.
• Identify and implement improvements to the development process.
• Improve efficiencies and reduce costs through project management methodologies.
• Identify and migrate non-development tasks to support work teams.
• Recommend organizational changes and technology enhancements to improve productivity.
• Conduct performance reviews and manage performance improvement plans.
• Foster overall employee career development and manage recruiting efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent software engineering degree, or relevant work experience.
• Minimum 7 years relevant experience in product software engineering.
• 7 years of experience managing Agile, particularly SCRUM teams using the Microsoft technology stack.
• Experience managing multiple global teams of software developers, QE/QA engineers, SCRUM Masters, and managers.
• Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing cross-team product development initiatives.
• Domain expertise in Tax and Accounting applications is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience leading Agile teams delivering 24/7 high availability and scalable cloud solutions.
• 5+ years of people management experience with a proven track record of creating a positive high-performing culture.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, planning, and execution skills.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships across disciplines.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to help teams manage complexity.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft Azure PaaS is a plus.
• Experience in SDLC governance implementing CI/CD as a development methodology.
• Experience with applying various types of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in innovative ways is a plus.
• Experience working on new products or green field initiatives.
