About the position

The position involves delivering multi-tier SaaS solutions with a focus on high quality and timely delivery. The role requires leading Agile teams, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with product delivery goals. The individual will be responsible for managing projects, improving development processes, and fostering employee career development while maintaining effective communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multi-tier SaaS solutions on-time and with high quality that delight customers.
• Lead Agile Teams, including managers, architects, RTE, and SCRUM Masters.
• Collaborate with CCH Axcess Scan Product Manager, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and achieve product delivery goals.
• Work with stakeholders within the CCH Axcess and Scan ecosystems to manage dependencies and achieve product delivery, tech debt reduction, and quality goals.
• Design and implement quality upfront initiatives to meet quality improvement and process improvement goals.
• Ship high quality products on time and on budget, managing projects and Agile Teams.
• Collaborate with the Director to determine departmental budgets and schedules, ensuring they are met.
• Review cost/benefit analyses of design alternatives and collaborate with technical staff before selecting final design.
• Identify and implement improvements to the development process.
• Improve efficiencies and reduce costs through adherence to project management methodologies.
• Identify and migrate non-development tasks to support work teams.
• Recommend organizational changes and changes in technology to enhance productivity.
• Conduct performance reviews, recommend candidates for promotion, and manage performance improvement plans.
• Foster overall employee career development and manage recruiting efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent software engineering degree, or relevant work experience.
• Minimum 7 years relevant experience in product software engineering.
• 7 years of experience managing Agile, particularly SCRUM teams using the Microsoft technology stack.
• Experience managing and leading multiple global teams of software developers, QE/QA engineers, SCRUM Masters, and managers.
• Experience designing, implementing, analyzing, and optimizing cross-team product development initiatives.
• Domain expertise in Tax and Accounting applications is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience leading Agile teams delivering 24/7 high available and scalable cloud solutions and services.
• 5+ years of people management experience with a proven track record of creating a positive high performing culture.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft Azure PaaS is a plus.
• Experience in SDLC governance implementing CI/CD as a development methodology.
• Experience with applying various types of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in innovative ways is a plus.
• Experience working on new products or green field initiatives.
