The Production and Asset Management Manager at Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) plays a crucial role in overseeing the flow of media management and operations assets for original productions in the Latin America region and US Hispanic markets. This position is pivotal in developing, establishing, and maintaining operational processes that enhance the effectiveness of the asset management tool across all clients. The manager will build strong relationships with producers, sales planners, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure quality control and timely delivery of assets. Reporting to the Production and Asset Management Executive Director, the manager will be instrumental in supervising the production process at all stages, from production and post-production to client onboarding and master delivery for broadcast. In this role, the manager will be responsible for managing all operational processes related to the distribution of episode masters to clients, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements for original productions. This includes overseeing the reliability of digital master workflows, analyzing technical specifications, and coordinating with distribution teams and clients during the delivery of program masters. The manager will also supervise the first client delivery process, ensuring that timelines are met based on product availability and contractual requirements. Additionally, the manager will support the Executive Director in the production and asset management processes for Latin American original productions. This involves analyzing workflows for efficiencies, supervising asset storage, creating weekly reports, and ensuring that all elements needed for quality control and client delivery are fulfilled. The manager will also oversee the music cue sheet creation process and act as a liaison between various teams to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality control standards. Overall, this position requires a solid understanding of the TV production process, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
