About the position

The Manager, Production Systems at Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of production systems that support the processing and dispensing of prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations. This role involves managing hardware, software, and network infrastructure, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and leading a team to enhance production processes. The position requires onsite presence and flexibility in working hours to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision, direction, and leadership to the team to ensure efficient production systems.
• Manage and maintain production systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
• Ensure all systems are up-to-date and functioning properly.
• Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide training and development opportunities to the team.
• Ensure compliance with Walmart's policies and applicable laws.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with production systems and processes.
• Communicate effectively with other departments and stakeholders.
• Set performance goals and expectations for the team and conduct evaluations.
• Develop and manage budgets for the department.

Requirements

• 5 years' experience in progressive leadership within mail order automation, pharmacy central fill, or related area.
• 10 years' experience in an automation, manufacturing, food processing, or dairy processing facility.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering area.
