About the position

Responsibilities

• Provide vision, direction, and leadership to ensure production systems run efficiently and effectively.
• Manage and maintain production systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
• Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
• Provide training and development opportunities to team members.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with production systems and processes.
• Communicate effectively with other departments and stakeholders to align production systems with business objectives.
• Set performance goals and expectations for the team, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Develop and manage budgets for the department to allocate resources effectively.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in production systems.

Requirements

• 5 years' experience in progressive leadership within mail order automation, pharmacy central fill, or related area.
• 10 years' experience in an automation, manufacturing, food processing, or dairy processing facility.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering area.
