About the position

The Manager, Production Systems at Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of production systems within the pharmacy's facility. This role focuses on managing hardware, software, and network infrastructure to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations while enhancing production processes. The position requires strong leadership skills to guide a team, improve operational efficiency, and maintain high-quality standards in a non-patient-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision, direction, and leadership to ensure production systems are running efficiently and effectively.
• Manage and maintain production systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
• Ensure all systems are up-to-date and functioning properly.
• Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
• Provide training and development opportunities to the team to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with Walmart's policies and applicable laws and regulations.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with production systems and processes.
• Communicate effectively with other departments and stakeholders to align production systems with business objectives.
• Set performance goals and expectations for the team, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Develop and manage budgets for the department to allocate resources effectively and efficiently.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in production systems and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering area.
• 5 years' experience in progressive leadership within mail order automation, pharmacy central fill, or related area.
• 10 years' experience in an automation, manufacturing, food processing, or dairy processing facility.
