About the position

The Manager of Program Effectiveness at the District Office is responsible for managing and facilitating institutional effectiveness and evidence-based decision-making across academic, technical, and health science instructional programs, as well as administrative, academic, and student support services. This role aims to continuously evaluate student and stakeholder success and program effectiveness to enhance operational excellence throughout the college.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate evidence-based decision-making college-wide by advising and supporting leaders, faculty, and employees in analyzing data to measure the effects of planned changes to instruction or operations.
  • Support analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate effectiveness and identify improvements in instruction or operations.
  • Maintain the college framework for evaluating instructional and support service program vitality.
  • Lead efforts to document continuous improvements in established formats to support the development of effective practices.
  • Counsel leaders, faculty, and employees on developing assessment methodologies aligned to outcomes.
  • Advise on the development and maintenance of student/stakeholder-centered outcomes.
  • Develop and deliver training and communications on continuous improvement, assessment, and data analysis.
  • Facilitate college-wide Program Effectiveness Committees.
  • Serve as a liaison regarding program effectiveness software solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external constituents on assessment and continuous improvement needs.
  • Represent the College at professional meetings related to assessment and accreditation.
  • Facilitate documentation of compliance with accreditation requirements.
  • Support the development and implementation of Quality Enhancement Plan assessment.

Requirements

  • Earned Master's in academic, education or technical field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an educational and instructional environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Earned Master's or Doctorate in educational research, curriculum development, instructional design, higher education leadership or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience with assessment and continuous improvement in a community college.
