About the position

The Manager, Project Management Office will oversee the delivery and execution of various cross-functional corporate projects within the Project Management Office (PMO). This role is essential in ensuring seamless alignment and execution of project components, reporting directly to the Director of the PMO. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, project management experience, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with overall project goals.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of project deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks that arise.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on project status to the Executive Director and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with project management standards and best practices.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
  • Conduct project reviews and post-implementation evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the overall PMO in achieving project objectives and delivering value to the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing projects or similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge of project execution methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management and integration software and tools.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is preferred, but not necessary.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
