About The Position

The Manager of Project Management at HCA Healthcare is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of division programs and projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role involves managing complex IT projects, facilitating project governance processes, and mentoring new project managers. The position requires strong leadership and relationship management skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from staff to executives, while adhering to HCA's values and mission.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or 7+ years of equivalent education and/or experience.
  • A certification in Project Management is desired.
  • 5+ years of experience in Healthcare preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Technology preferred.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and project management software such as Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, and Planview.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as project management subject matter expert for an HCA division.
  • Manage day-to-day activities of assigned division projects.
  • Perform resource and portfolio management analysis to assist the CIO in project prioritization.
  • Facilitate the division's project intake and governance processes.
  • Maintain ITG Project Management Center alignment and competencies across the division.
  • Support and use HCA Project Management methodologies and tools.
  • Act as the single point of contact for complex HCA enterprise deployments.
  • Manage IT projects of significant complexity and interdependencies.
  • Oversee annual strategic year-end planning at the division level.
  • Mentor and train new project managers as needed.
  • Develop strong stakeholder relationships and collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives.
  • Orchestrate project management and ITG processes in support of the Division CIO.
  • Monitor project activities and provide status reporting to C-Suite and division leadership.
