About the position

The Assistant Property Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Portfolio Director in the management of single-family home rentals. This position focuses on ensuring high occupancy levels, maintaining positive resident relations, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the tenant's experience. The role involves financial management, compliance with company policies, and effective communication with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing a portfolio of single-family residential homes according to company objectives and policies.
• Support the Portfolio Director in maintaining occupancy levels and ensuring positive resident relations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with resident move-in/move-out needs and responding to requests promptly.
• Monitor and manage applicable reports and tasks related to property management.
• Oversee accounts receivable processes, including daily depositions, reconciliation, and collections efforts.
• Address resident and property-related issues as they arise and document them in the property management system.
• Assist with electronic record keeping, ensuring quality control of lease files and document storage.

Requirements

• Proven administrative experience in Property Management or a related field.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record and access to a motor vehicle.
• Working knowledge of property management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
