About the position

The Public Relations and Social Media Manager at Four Hands will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the company's PR and social media strategies. This position is responsible for enhancing the brand's visibility and reputation through effective communication and collaboration across various departments. The manager will oversee all PR initiatives, manage social media platforms, and develop strategies to engage audiences and drive brand loyalty.

Responsibilities

  • Craft compelling brand narratives and social strategies that drive awareness across PR and social media channels.
  • Own all PR initiatives, managing PR agency relationships and fostering strong connections with industry editors and influencers.
  • Oversee all social media platforms (Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn) and develop strategies to enhance engagement and brand loyalty.
  • Design and implement social media expansion strategies to build upon the organization's success and innovation.
  • Develop comprehensive B2B and B2B2C strategies across earned and paid channels to enhance relationships and drive engagement.
  • Establish KPIs, manage budgets, and optimize paid social media performance in collaboration with media agencies and analytics teams.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews of programs and offer recommendations for optimization.
  • Work closely with internal marketing teams and agency collaborators to identify revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Develop creative briefs alongside Brand and Product Marketing teams to produce compelling social media assets.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscapes to bring innovative ideas to the organization.
  • Lead and mentor direct reports, providing guidance to develop their skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years experience in a marketing organization, focusing on social media strategy and public relations.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office suite.
  • Proficiency in social media applications including Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn.
  • Proficiency in social media publishing, tracking, and monitoring software, e.g., Brandwatch, Sprout, Hootsuite.
  • Understanding of social media and PR principles.
  • Understanding of marketing analytics and ability to track program performance.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills within marketing and creative services organizations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong sense of responsibility and dependability.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with e-commerce marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with content creation and graphic design tools.
