About the position

The Manager of Purchasing Support Operations at Core-Mark is responsible for leading a team that manages catalogue and master data, as well as executing deal and costing activities. This role involves collaboration with various internal stakeholders and aims to simplify and enhance processes across teams and operating systems. The position requires strategic management of a large team to drive improvements and add value for customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day team activities to drive measurable execution improvement.
• Proactively identify opportunities related to process optimization, improved workflow, enhanced reporting, or leveraging technology.
• Ensure pricing and processes adhere to strict compliance with SOX.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in a wholesale/retail procurement or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years people management experience.
• Minimum of 2 years Purchasing related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based programs.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent business experience.
• Familiarity and working knowledge of Purchasing Processes.
• Experience in Convenience Channel.
• Proficiency in reporting tools e.g., Power BI.
• Familiarity and working knowledge of AS400 and SAP.
