We are currently seeking a Manager, Quality Assurance, Community Corrections who has a passion for providing the highest quality care in a residential setting. This role is crucial in ensuring that our facilities operate at the highest standards of quality and compliance, directly impacting the lives of the individuals we serve and the communities we are part of. The Manager, Quality Assurance, Community Corrections is responsible for managing all areas of Quality Assurance. This includes conducting audits, inspections, data gathering and analysis, reporting, training, and communication in accordance with established policies and procedures and contractual requirements. The position requires collaboration with facility management, department managers, the Facility Support Center (FSC), and contracting agencies to formulate, revise, and implement policies and procedures that comply with established company policies, accreditation standards, and contractual obligations. In this role, you will develop strong working relationships with contracting agencies and ensure consistent communication between the facility and these agencies. You will manage and conduct audits and inspections of overall facility operations and maintenance, making improvement recommendations that affect the efficiency and quality of the facility's organization, security, operations, services, programs, and budget. Additionally, you will coordinate with department heads to develop, review, implement, and validate corrective action plans to ensure that root causes are addressed and corrective actions are effective. Regular inspections will be conducted to ensure the facility is ACA audit ready, and you will be responsible for collecting, preparing, reviewing, and maintaining all facility ACA files. You will collaborate with facility department heads on Quality Assurance inquiries and ensure top facility performance by providing direction and advising on best practices using your experience, data, contractual standards, and company policy guidance. Compiling, preparing, and accurately maintaining standard operating records and reports as requested by management or required by policies, procedures, regulations, laws, accreditation standards, and/or contracts will also be part of your responsibilities. You will review reports and records produced by staff, ensuring timely processing of all reports and documents. Collaboration with FSC Legal to review and respond to lawsuits will be necessary, as well as assisting with providing related facility records and attending court and/or administrative hearings as needed. Utilizing established company and facility policies and procedures in decision-making is essential, while performing with a high degree of independence and professional administrative skill. You may also supervise and train Quality Assurance department staff, directing, coordinating, and reviewing work assignments to ensure effective and efficient operations of the department. Domestic U.S. travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, corrections, social or behavioral science, quality assurance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Two years of experience in corrections, quality assurance, accreditation, or a related field.
  • Excellent written communication skills and analytical ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications or similar software applications.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
