About the position

The Manager, Quality Assurance, Community Corrections is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Quality Assurance within a residential setting. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with established policies, conducting audits and inspections, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance facility operations and services. The position requires a commitment to high standards of care and professionalism, aimed at positively impacting the communities served.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all areas of Quality Assurance including audits, inspections, data gathering and analysis, reporting, training, and communication.
  • Collaborate with facility management and department managers to formulate, revise, and implement policies and procedures in compliance with company policies and accreditation standards.
  • Develop strong working relationships with contracting agencies and ensure consistent communication between the facility and these agencies.
  • Conduct audits and inspections of facility operations and maintenance, making improvement recommendations to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Coordinate with department heads to develop, review, implement, and validate corrective action plans addressing root causes of issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure facility is ACA audit ready and maintain all facility ACA files.
  • Provide direction and advise on best practices to ensure top facility performance based on experience, data, and contractual standards.
  • Compile, prepare, and maintain standard operating records and reports as required by management and policies.
  • Collaborate with FSC Legal to review and respond to lawsuits, providing necessary facility records and attending hearings as needed.
  • Supervise and train Quality Assurance department staff, directing and reviewing work assignments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, corrections, social or behavioral science, quality assurance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Two years of experience in corrections, quality assurance, accreditation, or a related field.
  • Excellent written communication skills and analytical ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications or similar software.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
