About The Position

The Quality Manager is responsible for leading the Quality department, ensuring that all products meet established quality and customer standards. This role involves planning, developing, and coordinating quality programs and processes to maintain continuous production quality. The Quality Manager will also address customer concerns, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with quality specifications and standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Four years of College or University Degree in Business, Quality, Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Two to five years' experience in a leadership role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources.
  • Proven leadership and managerial skills, interpersonal skills, and personal development skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing, quality, process/tooling, and shop floor supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Establish quality objectives to continuously improve product quality processes.
  • Maintain key metrics regarding quality and reporting systems.
  • Address customer concerns promptly and ensure resolution.
  • Execute corrective actions and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
  • Complete PPAP submissions for new launches and engineering changes.
  • Provide leadership in maintaining and implementing the TS 16949 system.
  • Direct and allocate overtime hours to support production activities.
  • Assist in associate performance reviews and discussions.
  • Support continuous improvement projects and provide necessary training.
  • Participate in and perform Layered Process Audits (LPA) as per plan.
  • Ensure compliance with housekeeping and health & safety standards.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures related to TS 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.
