About the position

The Manager for Regional Dealer Network & Performance is responsible for the effective implementation and execution of the Core Operational Performance Program (COPP) for dealers in the South Central Region. This role focuses on maximizing dealer performance by addressing deficiencies in sales, customer experience, and compliance with Dealer Sales & Service Agreements. The manager will oversee the onboarding process for new Hyundai dealers and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful dealer performance and adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Aligns with NHQ Performance Management Team and Region Leadership on dealers entering the COPP program.
  • Coordinates COPP initial meeting process including scheduling, presentation development, and action plan template provision.
  • Leads performance improvement action plan process, ensuring quality and monitoring progress with support from regional leadership.
  • Manages and facilitates all HMA approved written COPP regional communications.
  • Tracks all required COPP dealer contact activities using independent judgment.
  • Leads and participates in COPP dealer meetings as appropriate.
  • Ensures regional team secures and files all COPP related communications.
  • Monitors dealer performance and communicates program status with regional team and Market Managers.
  • Summarizes and communicates dealer performance progress to Region Leadership and NHQ Performance Management / Legal Team.
  • Coordinates new dealer onboarding meetings and ensures completion of onboarding checklist.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Six or more years of experience in the automotive industry, with at least five years of directly related experience.
  • Field and District Sales Manager experience strongly recommended.
  • Supervisory experience desired.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Strong program and project management skills.
