About the position

The Regional Property Manager at Catholic Charities of Baltimore is responsible for supervising Property Managers and overseeing the daily operations of assigned properties. This role ensures compliance with policies and regulations while providing quality housing and services to residents. The position involves budget management, financial performance oversight, and fostering a positive work culture among staff and residents.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Property Managers and oversee day-to-day operations of assigned properties.
  • Interpret and implement Senior Communities policies and procedures.
  • Ensure quality housing and services are provided to residents.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, local regulations, and funding source requirements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of property budgets and monitor expenditures.
  • Oversee financial performance of assigned Senior Communities and hold Property Managers accountable for financial statements.
  • Implement quality control programs and suggest changes to meet standards.
  • Assist Property Managers in creating a positive work culture among staff and residents.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as assigned.
  • Provide staff development and training programs for assigned staff.
  • Participate in professional organizations related to property management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field.
  • Four years in an administrative capacity, including two years in the field of aging and demonstrated supervisory experience.
  • Proven knowledge of HUD Section 202/8 programs and Low-income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program.
  • Certification as a Certified Housing Manager or equivalent certification.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with property management software.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles.
